  • Customize the OTMM UI (OTMM Web/ARC) and develop custom plugins, event handlers, and import/export processes.
  • Configure and optimize asset ingestion, transformation, rendition generation, and bulk import/export processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve defects and performance issues across the OTMM application, database, and search layers.
  • Participate in the full SDLC: requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, code reviews, deployment, and production support.
  • Support upgrades, patches, and migrations of OTMM environments.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, DAM administrators, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
  • Document technical designs, configurations, and integration specifications.
  • Follow coding standards, security best practices, and version control processes.

  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Proficiency with Spring, Hibernate/JPA, XML, JSON, and JavaScript.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases (Oracle or PostgreSQL) and SQL.
  • Experience with application servers such as Apache Tomcat, WebLogic, or JBoss.
  • Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of OpenText Directory Services (OTDS) and SSO/SAML/OAuth configuration.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch/Solr, FFmpeg, ImageMagick, or media transcoding tools.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks (Angular, React) for UI customization.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Linux/Unix environments.

Technical questions 5
What is the difference between WHERE and HAVING clauses in SQL? Answer
Model answer: WHERE filters rows before any groupings are applied, while HAVING filters aggregated groups after GROUP BY has executed.
Explain SQL Window functions: ROW_NUMBER(), RANK(), and DENSE_RANK(). Answer
Model answer: ROW_NUMBER() assigns unique sequential integers. RANK() assigns identical ranks to ties and skips ranks. DENSE_RANK() assigns identical ranks to ties without skipping rank numbers.
How do you handle NULL and missing values during data cleaning in Python/Pandas? Answer
Model answer: Use .isna().sum() to identify missing values. Impute with mean/median using .fillna() or remove with .dropna(subset=[...]) depending on variance impact.
What is the difference between Star Schema and Snowflake Schema in Data Warehousing? Answer
Model answer: Star Schema has denormalized dimension tables directly connected to the central Fact table. Snowflake Schema normalizes dimension tables into sub-dimensions to minimize redundancy.
How do you calculate MoM (Month-over-Month) growth in SQL? Answer
Model answer: Use LAG(revenue, 1) OVER (ORDER BY month) to fetch the previous month's revenue and compute (revenue - prev_revenue) / prev_revenue * 100.
Behavioural & HR questions 3
