The Advanced Data Analyst role is designed for recent graduates who are eager to translate raw data into actionable insights. Reporting to the Business Intelligence Lead, the analyst will partner with product managers, operations heads and technology teams to build endβtoβend analytics solutions. The position blends technical rigor with business acumen, ensuring that dashboards, reports and predictive models are not only accurate but also aligned with strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Gather and understand business requirements from multiple stakeholders.
2. Design, develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or Powerβ―BI.
3. Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract, transform and load data from Oracle, MySQL and cloud data lakes.
4. Perform data cleansing, validation and quality checks to ensure reliability of insights.
5. Build statistical models in Python/R for trend analysis and forecasting.
6. Document data lineage, metadata and reporting standards.
7. Conduct adβhoc analysis to support decisionβmaking across functions.
8. Train endβusers on selfβservice analytics tools and best practices.
9. Monitor performance of deployed solutions and implement enhancements.
10. Contribute to continuous improvement of the analytics framework and governance.
The tech stack revolves around SQL, Python, Tableau/Powerβ―BI, Excel, ETL tools like Informatica or Azure Data Factory, and versionβcontrol systems such as Git.
