The Test Analyst role is a freshβgraduate opportunity that sits within the Technology & Engineering vertical. As a functional testing associate, you will be responsible for validating firmware, WiβFi, and network switch features to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards. You will work closely with crossβfunctional teams β firmware, hardware, cloud, mobile app and product β to drive quality throughout the product lifecycle. The position follows a hybrid work model, allowing you to collaborate onβsite in Bangalore while also leveraging remote flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Define and own the overall test strategy for firmware and WiβFi features.
2. Lead and mentor a small team of embedded and test engineers, providing technical guidance and code reviews.
3. Collaborate with firmware, hardware, cloud, mobileβapp and product teams to embed quality at every development stage.
4. Drive test planning, estimation, risk analysis and defect triage for multiple product releases.
5. Plan and execute functional, integration, regression and system testing for WiβFi device models (WiβFi 5, 6, 7).
6. Perform networkβswitch testing, configuration validation and WiβFi feature checks such as RADIUS sizing, GREs, AAA, QoS, failβover scenarios, etc.
7. Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Python and integrate them into CI pipelines.
8. Use debugging tools, analyzers and Wireshark to troubleshoot issues in WiβFi testing chambers.
9. Define, track and report quality metrics β defect leakage, pass rate, stability KPIs.
10. Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and documentation.
Tech Stack: Python, Selenium/Robot Framework, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab), Wireshark, network simulators, embedded firmware testing tools, Linux/Unix environments.
Growth Path: Starting as a Test Analyst, you can progress to Senior Test Engineer, Test Lead, Quality Assurance Manager, and eventually to roles such as Delivery Manager or Solution Architect, depending on performance and skill development.
