Job Description
We are looking for experienced Senior GCP Cloud Engineers with 810 years of hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), cloud infrastructure, and cloud architecture for freelance, part-time project support.
Roles &
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform.
- Work with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and Cloud Functions.
- Configure and manage cloud networking, IAM, security, and access controls.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud
- Build, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Implement serverless solutions using Cloud Run and Cloud Functions.
- Monitor infrastructure performance using Google Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.
- Manage cloud migration, backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
- Optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams on cloud solutions.
- Provide technical support for ongoing GCP cloud projects.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloud Infrastructure and Architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery.
- Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Docker, and container orchestration.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Terraform.
- CI/CD tools โ Cloud
- Build, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- GCP Networking, VPC, IAM, and Cloud Security.
- Serverless technologies โ Cloud Run and Cloud Functions.
- Monitoring and logging โ Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and Shell Scripting.
- Experience with cloud migration, automation, and cost optimization.
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect / Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification preferred.
