As a React & Node.js Developer at Buildiyo, you will join the core product engineering squad responsible for building scalable web applications that power the companyβs flagship platform. The role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to two years of experience who have a solid grasp of JavaScript, React, and Node.js. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and senior engineers to translate business requirements into clean, performant code.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Design, develop, and maintain responsive frontβend components using React.js and Redux.
2. Implement serverβside APIs and business logic with Node.js and Express.
3. Integrate thirdβparty services and RESTful APIs securely and efficiently.
4. Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
5. Optimize application performance, load times, and scalability.
6. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and adhering to coding standards.
7. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues promptly.
8. Contribute to architectural discussions and help evolve the tech stack.
9. Document technical decisions, APIs, and deployment processes.
10. Stay updated with the latest trends in the MERN ecosystem and share knowledge with the team.
**Tech Stack**: React.js, Redux, JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, Express, REST APIs, Git, CI/CD pipelines, AWS (or similar cloud services).
**Growth Path**: Starting as a Junior FullβStack Engineer, high performers can progress to Senior Engineer, Tech Lead, or Product Architect within 2β3 years, with opportunities to lead feature teams or specialize in cloud architecture.

Model answer: High bias leads to underfitting (oversimplified model), high variance leads to overfitting (captures noise). Mitigate using L1/L2 Regularization, Dropout, Cross-Validation, and data augmentation.
Explain the difference between Precision, Recall, and F1-Score. Answer
Model answer: Precision = TP / (TP + FP) (correctness of positive predictions). Recall = TP / (TP + FN) (coverage of actual positives). F1-Score is the harmonic mean of Precision and Recall.
How does Gradient Descent work and what is the role of Learning Rate? Answer
Model answer: It optimizes loss functions by iteratively moving weights in the direction of negative gradient. A large learning rate may overshoot the minimum; a small rate causes slow convergence.
What is the difference between Supervised, Unsupervised, and Self-Supervised learning? Answer
