The role of Software Engineer‑AQA at Capgemini is designed for fresh graduates who are passionate about quality engineering and automation. As an AQA (Automation Quality Assurance) engineer, you will be part of a dynamic testing team that ensures the reliability, performance and security of software products delivered to global clients. You will work closely with developers, product managers and business analysts to translate functional requirements into robust automated test suites, contribute to test strategy, and help maintain a high standard of code quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases and test data for functional, regression and performance testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand feature specifications and provide early feedback on testability.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of defects and work with developers to drive timely resolution.
• Maintain test documentation, including test strategies, test coverage matrices and defect logs.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving test frameworks and best practices.
• Monitor test execution results, generate reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with emerging testing tools, frameworks and industry trends.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge through brown‑bag sessions.

Tech Stack: Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Git, REST API testing (Postman/RestAssured), SQL, Linux/Unix, Agile/Scrum.
