Objectives We are seeking a Test Engineer with around 2 years of experience to support manual and automated testing, help maintain test automation, and contribute to the delivery of reliable, high-quality software within an agile development environment. Roles & Responsibilities Execute manual and automated tests to assess software quality and verify requirements. Support the creation, maintenance, and execution of automated test cases using tools such as Selenium or similar frameworks. Assist in integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab CI/CD. Analyze requirements and collaborate with the team to define test scenarios and test cases. Identify, document, track, and retest software defects, communicating findings clearly to the relevant teams. Work closely with developers and testers in an agile Scrum team and participate in team ceremonies. Read and understand source code, such as Java, where useful for test design and troubleshooting. Contribute to test documentation and continuous improvement of testing practices. Tech Skills Knowledge of software testing principles and practical experience with manual testing. Around 2 years of experience in software testing, with exposure to test automation. Familiarity with at least one testing or test management tool, such as Squash or a similar tool. Basic understanding of Git, CI/CD concepts, and test integration into delivery pipelines. Introductory scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Perl are an advantage. Basic programming knowledge, preferably Java, and familiarity with Selenium or similar tools are an advantage. Understanding of Agile/Scrum ways of working. Education and experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Around 2 years of relevant work experience in software testing or quality assurance. Willingness to learn new technologies and participate in knowledge-sharing within the company.
