Derivia Intelligence is a leading provider of high‑frequency, high‑quality data sets that power decision‑making for the world’s biggest financial institutions. With over two decades of experience, the company operates three flagship businesses – Structured Retail Products (SRP), Fixed‑Income, Options & Warrants (FOW) and GlobalCapital – delivering timely market data, news, analytics and events across derivatives and other complex instruments. Their data feeds are trusted by 9 out of 10 of the world’s largest investment banks, as well as top‑tier asset managers, hedge funds, service providers and regulators. The firm’s mission is to turn raw market information into actionable insights that improve trading efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, manage risk and drive profitable investment decisions. The Chennai data teams are expanding rapidly, and Derivia is hiring Data Analysts at multiple seniority levels – from fresh graduates to seasoned professionals. The role sits within either the SRP or FOW data streams, both of which cover the United States market as a primary focus while also supporting global projects across North America, Europe, APAC and Latin America. Analysts work closely with colleagues in India and Bulgaria, processing complex market data, maintaining product databases, and ensuring that the data delivered to clients meets the highest standards of accuracy and reliability. As a Data Analyst you will be the backbone of the data delivery pipeline. You will ingest raw market feeds, validate and cleanse data, update product databases, and generate audit‑ready reports. You will also track data issues, propose improvements, and help maintain comprehensive procedural documentation. The role demands strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. While prior experience in data processing or database administration is advantageous, the position is open to recent graduates who possess a solid academic foundation in finance, mathematics, statistics or related fields, along with strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintain SRP/FOW product databases to a high standard of quality using internal workflow tools. 2. Record and preserve detailed audit trails for every data change made. 3. Track data issues, resolutions, and best‑practice updates in a systematic manner. 4. Ensure client SLA commitments for timeliness, quality and cost are consistently met. 5. Flag potential risks early and propose mitigation plans. 6. Keep all data‑management procedure guides current and accurate. 7. Collaborate with cross‑regional teams (India & Bulgaria) to process complex market data. 8. Contribute to global projects that support strategic business decisions. 9. Provide regular status reports and insights to senior stakeholders. 10. Continuously learn domain knowledge from senior analysts and subject‑matter experts. Tech Stack & Tools: Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros), Microsoft Office Suite, internal data‑workflow platforms, basic SQL for data extraction, and cloud‑based collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint). Familiarity with financial market terminology and data structures is a plus. Growth Path: Starting as an Analyst, high performers can progress to Senior Analyst, Team Lead, and eventually to Product Manager or Domain Specialist roles. Derivia encourages continuous learning through internal training, certifications, and exposure to global markets, enabling analysts to build deep expertise in structured products and fixed‑income data. Why Join Derivia Intelligence? You will work with a world‑class data set that powers the biggest players in finance, gain exposure to global markets, and develop a niche skill set that is highly valued across the industry. The remote‑first model provides flexibility while still fostering a collaborative culture through regular virtual interactions and occasional on‑site meet‑ups. If you are passionate about data, enjoy solving complex problems, and want to launch a career in financial data services, Derivia offers the perfect launchpad.
