The role of Associate – Category Services – Inventory Ops is positioned within the Category Services vertical, focusing on the health of inventory across the platform. The associate will own the end‑to‑end process of identifying, monitoring and clearing unproductive inventory, ensuring that stock levels are optimised and that sellers receive timely support. This position is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to three years of experience who enjoy working with data, coordinating with multiple stakeholders and solving operational bottlenecks.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily check‑ins with Business, Category, Operations and Warehouse teams to track inventory clearance initiatives.
• Maintain a real‑time dashboard of inventory metrics, highlighting deviations and progress.
• Act as the primary troubleshooter for execution roadblocks, liaising with Technology and other functional teams.
• Perform root‑cause analysis on unproductive inventory and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare and present regular operational reports and visual dashboards for senior leadership.
• Use advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) to clean, merge and analyse large data sets.
• Coordinate vendor‑related queries and ensure timely resolution of seller issues.
• Document standard operating procedures and continuously improve the inventory clearance workflow.
• Support ad‑hoc analytical projects that drive process efficiency.
• Participate in cross‑functional meetings to align on inventory strategy and execution.

Tech Stack & Tools: Microsoft Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, Google Sheets, basic SQL (optional), internal inventory management systems, and data visualisation tools.
