Job Description & Key Responsibilities
Weekday, a Y Combinator W21 alumni, is a fastβgrowing startup that powers hiring for highβgrowth tech companies across India. The platform combines AIβdriven sourcing with human expertise to match top talent with cuttingβedge roles in a fraction of the time traditional recruiters need. Backed by leading investors, Weekday has quickly become a trusted partner for startups looking to scale their teams, and it is expanding its internal talent operations team to sustain this momentum.
As a Talent Operations Associate Consultant, you will be at the heart of the hiring engine. Reporting to the Head of Recruiter Screening, you will conduct candidate screening calls, research client roles, capture detailed evaluation data, and ensure a seamless candidate experience. The role is designed as a sixβmonth contract with a clear pathway to extension or fullβtime employment based on performance. You will work 9 hours a day, six days a week, from the comfort of your home, using modern collaboration tools such as Airtable, Slack, and the companyβs CRM.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct 15β40 highβimpact screening calls daily, evaluating technical and nonβtechnical fit.
2. Research client job descriptions thoroughly to answer candidate queries authoritatively.
3. Record structured rubric data for each candidate to maintain evaluation consistency.
4. Manage endβtoβend candidate communication, including status updates and feedback loops.
5. Use Airtable, Slack, and CRM tools to generate accurate daily reports.
6. Coach and lead a small POD of 2β3 associates, tracking metrics and driving corrective actions.
7. Identify process improvement opportunities and suggest automation enhancements.
8. Participate in weekly performance reviews and contribute to scaling the POD model.
9. Assist senior leadership with operational analytics and talent insights.
10. Uphold Weekdayβs culture of ownership, speed, and continuous learning.
Tech Stack & Tools: Airtable, Slack, CRM platforms, Google Workspace, basic data visualization tools (e.g., Google Data Studio). No deep technical coding required, but familiarity with SaaS tools is advantageous.
Growth Path: Successful associates can progress to POD Lead, Senior Talent Operations Manager, and eventually to People Operations or Talent Acquisition leadership roles. The contract includes performanceβbased incentives and a direct route to a fullβtime position for high performers.
