Citi, a leading global financial services firm, operates in more than 160 countries, offering banking, payments, risk management, and investment solutions. In India, Citi has built a strong presence across major metros, fostering a culture of innovation, diversity, and continuous learning. Employees benefit from exposure to cutting‑edge financial technology, cross‑border collaboration, and a robust mentorship ecosystem that accelerates career growth. The Business Analyst with Automation role sits within Citi’s Decision Management and Business Analysis families, focusing on turning massive volumes of digital and retail data into actionable insights. Reporting to the Digital Analytics Lead, the analyst will blend data engineering, visualization, and business acumen to drive performance improvements for Citi’s consumer‑facing platforms. The position is hybrid, with a blend of on‑site collaboration in Gurugram and remote work, enabling flexibility while maintaining close ties with business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: 1. Acquire, cleanse, and transform large‑scale datasets from multiple sources using Python, PySpark, and SQL. 2. Design, develop, and maintain automated data pipelines that feed daily and weekly reporting cycles. 3. Build interactive Tableau dashboards and visual reports that surface digital performance metrics and customer behaviour trends. 4. Conduct data quality audits, identify inconsistencies, and implement corrective actions to ensure reliable analytics. 5. Translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations for non‑technical stakeholders. 6. Collaborate with product, marketing, and risk teams to gather requirements and refine analytics frameworks. 7. Leverage big‑data technologies such as Hive and Impala to query and analyse petabyte‑scale data. 8. Explore Generative AI tools to prototype rapid insights and automate repetitive analytical tasks. 9. Document processes, maintain version‑controlled code repositories, and ensure compliance with Citi’s data governance policies. 10. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting enhancements to reporting tools, automation scripts, and analytical methodologies. Tech Stack: Python, PySpark, SQL, Tableau, Hive, Impala, Git, Linux, and optional Generative AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude). The role offers a clear growth path—from Analyst to Senior Analyst, then to Manager or Product Owner—supported by Citi’s internal learning platforms, certifications, and global mobility programs. Joining Citi provides exposure to world‑class financial data, a collaborative environment that values curiosity, and a compensation package that is competitive within the industry. The blend of technical depth, business impact, and global reach makes this an attractive opportunity for ambitious data professionals.

What is the difference between Implicit Wait, Explicit Wait, and Fluent Wait in Selenium? Answer ▼
Model Answer: Implicit Wait sets a global timeout for all element lookups. Explicit Wait pauses execution until a specific ExpectedCondition (e.g. elementToBeClickable) is met. Fluent Wait allows defining polling frequency and ignoring specific exceptions like NoSuchElementException.
Explain the Page Object Model (POM) and its advantages in Test Automation. Answer ▼
Model Answer: POM is a design pattern that creates an object repository for web UI elements. It separates test scripts from page locators, reducing code duplication and making maintenance easy when UI elements change.
How do you handle dynamic WebElements whose ID changes on page reload? Answer ▼
Model Answer: Use dynamic XPath methods like contains(), starts-with(), text(), or XPath axes (ancestor, following-sibling, parent) instead of brittle absolute paths.
What is the difference between @BeforeMethod and @BeforeClass in TestNG? Answer ▼
Model Answer: @BeforeClass runs once before the first test method in the current class, while @BeforeMethod executes before each individual test method.
How do you validate REST API response codes and JSON payload using Postman / RestAssured? Answer ▼
