About the role

Flexiple is a managed marketplace that connects global enterprises with top‑tier talent in India. Over the past few years, it has built a reputation for delivering high‑performing, cross‑functional teams that drive digital transformation for its clients. The platform prides itself on a merit‑first culture, flexible work arrangements, and a strong emphasis on continuous learning. By partnering with leading insurers, banks, and fintech firms, Flexiple enables its talent pool to work on mission‑critical projects that shape the future of regulated services in the country. The hiring client for this role is a well‑established domestic insurance company that writes health and motor policies through both agents and an expanding online channel. While the company enjoys a solid market presence, its policy servicing operations still rely heavily on spreadsheets, email, and a decade‑old policy administration system. To stay competitive, the insurer is embarking on a multi‑year modernization journey aimed at automating renewals, endorsements, and claim intimations, reducing manual hand‑offs, and aligning processes with the latest IRDAI circulars. As a Business Analyst, you will be the bridge between the business and technology teams. You will spend time on the shop floor with underwriting, claims, and servicing staff to capture the real‑world flow of work, identify bottlenecks, and quantify leakage. Your findings will be translated into clear, testable requirements that the technology vendors can implement. You will also build dashboards to monitor turnaround times, re‑work rates, and customer complaints, presenting insights directly to the operations head. The role offers a high‑visibility seat in a strategic transformation program, providing direct exposure to senior leadership across claims, underwriting, and technology. Key Responsibilities: 1. Conduct detailed process‑mapping workshops with servicing, underwriting, and claims teams. 2. Document current state workflows, pain points, and root‑cause analyses. 3. Draft functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for enhancements to the policy administration and CRM platforms. 4. Develop simple analytical models and Powerβ€―BI dashboards to track turnaround time, re‑work, and complaint metrics. 5. Lead user‑acceptance testing cycles, log defects, and ensure timely closure. 6. Prepare release notes, training guides, and conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions for end‑users. 7. Align all proposed changes with IRDAI regulations and internal audit observations. 8. Collaborate with vendor teams to ensure technical feasibility and timely delivery. 9. Continuously monitor post‑implementation performance and recommend iterative improvements. 10. Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the creation of a best‑practice repository for business analysis within the organization. Tech Stack & Tools: SQL, Advanced Excel, Powerβ€―BI (or similar reporting tool), CRM & Policy Administration Systems, Process‑mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart), JIRA/Confluence for requirement tracking, and basic knowledge of IRDAI compliance frameworks. Growth Path: Successful delivery can lead to Senior Business Analyst, Lead Analyst, Product Owner, or even Operations Transformation Manager roles, with increasing strategic influence and leadership responsibilities. Why Join: This position offers a rare blend of hands‑on operational exposure and strategic impact within a regulated industry. You will work in a hybrid setting in Mumbai or Gurugram, enjoy mentorship from senior insurance leaders, and be part of a high‑visibility modernization program that will shape the future of policy servicing for a major insurer. Flexiple’s flexible engagement model also ensures you are part of a forward‑thinking ecosystem that values skill development and career growth.

Technical questions 5
What is the difference between Implicit Wait, Explicit Wait, and Fluent Wait in Selenium? Answer
Model answer: Implicit Wait sets a global timeout for all element lookups. Explicit Wait pauses execution until a specific ExpectedCondition (e.g. elementToBeClickable) is met. Fluent Wait allows defining polling frequency and ignoring specific exceptions like NoSuchElementException.
Explain the Page Object Model (POM) and its advantages in Test Automation. Answer
Model answer: POM is a design pattern that creates an object repository for web UI elements. It separates test scripts from page locators, reducing code duplication and making maintenance easy when UI elements change.
How do you handle dynamic WebElements whose ID changes on page reload? Answer
Model answer: Use dynamic XPath methods like contains(), starts-with(), text(), or XPath axes (ancestor, following-sibling, parent) instead of brittle absolute paths.
What is the difference between @BeforeMethod and @BeforeClass in TestNG? Answer
Model answer: @BeforeClass runs once before the first test method in the current class, while @BeforeMethod executes before each individual test method.
How do you validate REST API response codes and JSON payload using Postman / RestAssured? Answer
