With a legacy of over two decades, the company has built a reputation for quality, innovation, and sustainability, investing heavily in research‑driven product development and stringent quality controls. Its headquarters in Kochi serves as a strategic hub, connecting the vibrant food‑processing ecosystem of Kerala with global supply chains. The organization prides itself on a collaborative culture where cross‑functional teams work together to bring new ingredients from concept to shelf, fostering an environment that encourages continuous learning and career growth.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist role is pivotal to Bayfield’s growth trajectory. As the company expands its operations and diversifies its product lines, the need for top‑tier talent across functions—R&D, production, sales, and corporate services—has intensified. The specialist will partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements, design sourcing strategies, and ensure a seamless recruitment experience that reflects Bayfield’s employer brand. This position offers fresh graduates with a postgraduate HR qualification an excellent entry point into strategic recruitment, as well as early‑career professionals looking to sharpen their talent‑acquisition skill set.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with business leaders to define job requirements and create detailed job descriptions.
2. Source candidates through multiple channels including job portals, social media, campus drives, and employee referrals.
3. Screen resumes, conduct preliminary telephonic interviews, and shortlist candidates.
4. Manage end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle – from interview scheduling to offer negotiation and onboarding.
5. Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with accurate candidate data.
6. Build and nurture talent pipelines for critical and hard‑to‑fill roles.
7. Conduct market salary benchmarking and provide compensation recommendations.
8. Organize and participate in campus recruitment events and job fairs.
9. Support employer branding initiatives through social media and campus outreach.
10. Generate recruitment metrics and reports for senior leadership review.
Tech Stack: The role primarily utilizes ATS tools (e.g., Naukri RMS, Zoho Recruit), LinkedIn Recruiter, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic data‑visualisation tools like Excel or Power BI for reporting.
Growth Path: Starting as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, high performers can progress to Senior Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Lead, and eventually Head of Talent Acquisition, with opportunities to lead regional hiring strategies.
Why Join Bayfield Food Ingredients? The company offers a vibrant work environment that blends the stability of an established industry leader with the agility of a growth‑focused organization. Employees benefit from structured learning programs, exposure to international best practices, and a clear career ladder. Competitive compensation, a supportive culture, and the chance to impact the company’s talent strategy make this role an attractive launchpad for HR professionals.
